2024 NSW Vineyard National Gathering

3-5 October 2024

Jesus, we say Yes!

The Kingdom of God journey begins with giving Jesus the ‘YES’ of our heart.  The Kingdom of God journey lasts the long story by giving Jesus our ‘YES’ in our everyday lives.

Discipleship to Jesus is the adventure of relationship with a loving God who is on mission to rescue and reconcile people and all of creation to himself, both now and into the days to come.  The daily life of being changed by God’s love, empowered by His Spirit and equipped to give God’s love to the people around us.

This year’s Vineyard National Gathering will be a significant time.  The Holy Spirit is renewing the people of Jesus, individually and His Church.  There is a fresh move of God asking for the ‘YES’ of our heart and the ‘YES’ of our daily life.  That our life with Jesus would live into a better story than what our current world and culture offers.

We look forward to joining with you and spending time in Worship, Opening the Bible and doing the Works of the Spirit.  There is a great line up of speakers and equippers ready to share their life and learnings.

Jesus, we say YES!

Our Guest Speakers

John and Debby Wright: National Directors, Vineyard Churches UK&I

John and Debby have been serving together in pastoral ministry since 1989.  They first got involved with the Vineyard movement in 1982 and in 1987 they spend 8 months as interns at Anaheim Vineyard (under John Wimber the leader of the Vineyard movement in the USA).  Following their time at Anaheim they returned to England to help John and Eleanor Mumford start the first UK Vineyard – Southwest London Vineyard.

They worked at SW London Vineyard for 9 years before moving back to Nottingham to plant Trent Vineyard.  In January 2015 they took up the role of National Directors of Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland, whilst continuing to lead Trent Vineyard.  In September 2023 they handed on the leadership of Trent Vineyard.

Tim O’Neill: National Leader, Exponential Australia

Tim leads Exponential Australia – a community of activists who champion the cause of healthy church multiplication. Exponential has been formed to see church multiplication stimulated across Australia.

Tim also leads A2A (the Acts 2 Alliance) a network of churches in Australia. He is founding pastor and chair of Tailrace Community Church, a church that they planted 30 years ago. Over that time Tim has been active in equipping and mentoring church planters across various movements.

Sam and Ruth Buscombe: Senior Pastors, Geelong Vineyard, Victoria.

Sam and Ruth Buscombe met as young adults at the Yarra Valley Vineyard church.  Along with their four children they are a family walking together in God’s calling, serving and loving a local Vineyard church.

In 2020 Sam & Ruth became the Senior Pastors of Geelong Vineyard Church.

Theirs is a compelling story of God’s love reaching out through their life to others, even in the tougher, harder to understand seasons. Learning to navigate circumstances that challenge love for Jesus and the work of His Kingdom.  You will be encouraged and inspired as they share their story of saying “Yes” to Jesus at this year’s Vineyard National Gathering.
