Dear Vineyard Family & Friends,
Grace and peace to you in this season of the Resurrection of Jesus.
He is risen—alive forevermore—and His Kingdom knows no end.
Recently, we had the privilege of gathering in Portugal for the Vineyard Global Council—joining National Directors from across the world. These times are always deeply enriching: worshipping together, listening to the Spirit, sharing stories, and strengthening one another for the work God has entrusted to us. It’s a joy to witness the ongoing growth of the Vineyard and the gentle, powerful advance of the Kingdom among us.
A particularly meaningful moment was honouring John & Eleanor Mumford for their faithful, servant-hearted leadership as Vineyard Global Leaders over many years. Nichole helped gather messages, photos, and video tributes from Vineyard leaders around the world—forming a beautiful expression of gratitude in both a book of memories and video presentation. We are so thankful for their legacy.
We also had the joy of praying for John & Debby Wright as they step into their new role as Vineyard Global Leaders later this year. Many of you will remember their time with us in Australia—we encourage you to keep them in your prayers as they take up this significant calling.
Here at home, 2026 has already been full and life-giving. We’ve loved being with Northridge Vineyard (NSW) and High Country Vineyard (VIC), and we’re looking forward to being with Compassion Vineyard (SA), gathering with the VCA Board, and visiting Southern Cross Vineyard (NSW) in the coming weeks.
There are also some important national moments ahead, and we would deeply value your prayers as we prepare these opportunites to bless, encourage and see the Australian Vineyard continues to flourish.
In May, David Ruis (Vineyard Canada National Director) will be with us in Melbourne, equipping Senior Pastors and Church Planters around the shepherd heart of God in leadership. He will also lead a Worship & Renewal evening in the Holy Spirit—something we are expectant for and everyone is welcome. The invitation is free and wide.
For all the details on Davids visit please check the vineyard.org.au/events page to register.

Later in the year, we are preparing for our Vineyard National Gathering (30 Sept – 3 Oct), with a Pastors & Leaders Day on 30 September. We’re currently seeking the right venue—please join us in praying for God’s provision and guidance. We are thrilled to share that Jordan & Sonya Seng (Honolulu, Hawaii) will be with us as our key equippers. They are the Senior Pastors of Bluewater Mission Church, authors , equippers of the Saints and you can find out loads more about them here on their Church webpage. They carry a deep love for Jesus and a growing love for Australia, and we believe their ministry will be a real gift to our movement

As the work of Vineyard Churches Australia continues to grow, so too does the need to support it well. We’re grateful to the VCA Board for establishing a new administrative role. Sarah Delaney was interviewed by the VCA Board and has now stepped into this position and will be serving part-time—helping us stay connected and responsive to what the Father is doing among us.

Finally, we are very aware that these are uncertain times—marked by instability, pressure, and change. As the people of King Jesus, we are receiving an unshakable kingdom. In the light of Jesus resurrection, we are praying that His presence would continue to form you, fill you, and flow through you—bringing His reign, His love, and His hope, int he power of the Spirit into every place you are daily living.
We love you, we thank God for you, and we stand with you in the mission of Jesus.
Much love and every blessing,
Kirk & Nichole Delaney
National Directors, Vineyard Churches Australia
