Born in Bristol, United Kingdom, Helen grew up in a loving family. She gave her life to Jesus at the age of eleven and experienced a significant renewal through the Holy Spirit at twenty-one, an encounter that deepened her love for God and shaped the direction of her life and ministry.

Helen studied Ancient History and Archaeology in Birmingham. After later moving to Brighton, she met and married Jonathan, and together they became involved in prayer and reconciliation initiatives, including a YWAM reconciliation walk through Turkey. In 1998, they joined a prayer and reconciliation journey to Australia, an experience that became a significant part of God’s unfolding call on their lives. Following the Lord’s leading, they eventually relocated to Australia with their young family. Since settling in Brisbane in 2007, Helen and Jonathan have raised their four children and invested deeply in the life of the Church and the wider community.

Helen first encountered the Vineyard movement through Vineyard worship in 1994 and was drawn to its emphasis on intimacy with God, the work of the Holy Spirit and the Kingdom of God. She joined Vineyard Brisbane West Church in 2012, has served as Co-Senior Pastor since 2015, and as a Board member of Vineyard Churches Australia since 2020. Helen was also VCA National Prayer Coordinator from 2018 to 2025.

Alongside her ministry responsibilities, Helen home-educated her children for more than a decade, an experience that strengthened her passion for discipling and nurturing the next generation. She loves helping people grow in faith and is particularly committed to prayer, teaching, caring for others, and seeing children and families flourish.

When relaxing, Helen enjoys expressing her creativity through art, curling up with a good book and the family dogs, walking on the beach with Jonathan and hosting family and friends around the table. She loves to explore the rugged coastlines of Cornwall and Wales while visiting family and friends in the United Kingdom.
